About the Project

Artificial intelligence seems to be the hot topic of the day but the real question is: Could it be used to “build” something that might hopefully make the work day just a little bit more enjoyable?

Well, the creators decided to try and find out and what started as a little side distraction in the evening soon turned into a completely unexpected Project: A full-length, genre-hopping musical tribute to those who build the world.

“The Construct Project” is a multi-genre auditory journey developed through the use of original concepts and lyrics, input from various AI large language models (LLMs), and an online text-to-music generator.

It features more than 25+ industry-specific tracks designed to celebrate and recognize the work, the people, and shared construction-life experience.

An effort was made to provide a wide range of listening options—from rock, rap, country, blues, dance, Latin, punk, inspirational, and even a little Zydeco. There’s even a small shoutout to the women working in the industry in recognition of that ‘steel-toed sisterhood in boots.'

And, while it may not be "real, professionally-made music" (as, admittedly, it is far from perfect); it is a unique musical experience that was built just for the enjoyment of those out there working hard on (and off) the job site.
